the Role
- We are looking for a product designer who approaches design systematically.
- You will build holistic solutions that scale with the product, rather than designing screen by screen in isolation.
- You'll work on complex products: e-commerce platforms, enterprise tools, and internal systems.
- Projects involve scenarios where getting the flow right should matter as much as making it look good.
- This is not a junior role needing constant direction, nor a senior role leading teams.
- You will lead projects end-to-end, make decisions confidently, and collaborate with developers, clients, and other designers without needing hand-holding.
- This role is NOT for you if you need detailed direction on every task, you're primarily a visual or brand designer looking to "try product", or you want to work alone without client or team interaction.
What You'll Be Doing
- Own product design on client projects.
- Think through user flows, Information Architecture, and Interaction Patterns.
- Design from constraints: business logic, technical feasibility, and user needs.
- Make decisions confidently, understand what the client is trying to achieve (not just what they asked for), question briefs when they don't make sense, and defend decisions with reasoning.
- Present work to clients and stakeholders, explaining your rationale clearly and iterating based on feedback without taking it personally.
- Work directly with developers who'll build what you design and bring your perspective and experience to the wider team, contributing to the culture.
- Work with AI tools and use experience with AI in your design workflow, remaining open to rapidly evolving processes and new ways of working.
What You'll Bring
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: €26,000-€38,000 (depending on experience).
- Office-first with flexible remote days.
- Real responsibility: Own design on projects that matter to actual businesses and work directly with clients who trust your judgement, making that affect thousands of users.
- Professional growth: Learn product thinking in an agency environment by working with people who've been doing this for many years within projects across multiple industries.
- A team that gives a damn: We're a B Corp and 1% for the Planet member, working alongside people who are committed to designing and building products that are ethically, inclusively, and sustainably.
- Room to innovate: Freedom to experiment with new AI tools and approaches that make work better and smarter.
