About the Role
- We’re looking for a UI Designer to join us in Lisbon.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design intuitive, scalable, and high-quality user interfaces for ZEISS Vision Care’s device-related, in-store, and omnichannel B2B2C solutions, enabling eye care professionals, retailers & hospitals to deliver seamless, efficient, and premium consume.
- Create high-fidelity designs and advanced prototypes in Figma for software solutions & device interfaces to validate concepts, support decision-making, and accelerate product development with the help of AI for design.
- Apply system thinking to design robust, consistent, and “edge-case-proof” UI solutions across complex, modular product environments.
- Collaborate closely with UX, product, and engineering teams to translate user needs, market and business needs, business goals, and technical constraints into feasible design solutions that drive growth.
- Translate research insights into user-centered designs that meet the needs and expectations of customers & consumers, considering cultural differences and international market demands.
- Participate in design reviews, provide constructive feedback, and support a culture of continuous improvement, experimentation, and AI adoption in the design process.
- Update knowledge of emerging design trends, technologies and digital accessibility criteria, as well as human interface guidelines.
- Present new designs to senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate with external agencies and partners to support design delivery, ensure alignment, and bring in specialized expertise where needed.
What You'll Bring
Around 5 years of experience in UI design with for digital products, with a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design capabilities and B2B2C or B2C experience.
E-Commerce experience.
Strong expertise in UI design for complex digital products, including the ability to create high-quality wireframes, visual designs, and interactive prototypes.
Advanced proficiency in modern design tools, especially Figma (including prototyping, component-based Design Systems, and structured file organization).
Good understanding of frontend technologies and technical constraints to ensure feasibility and smooth handover to development.
Fluent in English, any additional language is a plus.
