- Seasoned Product Designer to lead end-to-end product design on complex workflows, ship measurable outcomes, and raise the quality bar across the platform.
- Role involves tackling complex problems that account for diverse user workflows, technical constraints, and how changes impact the entire platform.
- Team assignments may shift, with specific focus areas including:
- Enterprise: Technical B2B platforms, designing for scale, governance, and collaboration (permissions, environments, observability, and failure modes).
- AI: Designing AI tools, agents, or builders to define the future of AI-powered workflows.
- Growth: Rapid iteration, experimentation, and optimizing onboarding and activation flows to move metrics.
- Marketplace: Multi-sided platforms where balancing the needs of supply and demand sides.
- Remote-first (Europe) with regular off-sites for team bonding.
- Visa sponsorship is available for Germany; other countries require an existing right to work.
- Company language is English.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the full design process from discovery to polished delivery, collaborating closely with PMs and engineers.
- Consistently ship high-quality, visually cohesive designs that improve the overall UX at every release.
- Work on complex features with a strong engineering mindset and understanding of the underlying technology.
- Take ownership of complex, multi-faceted problems and drive them to completion with initiative and autonomy.
- Champion the user by running interviews, usability tests, and research to inform critical product and business decisions
- Master the feedback loop by gathering, synthesizing, and acting on input while giving actionable critique to teammates.
- Balance speed and quality in an MVP-driven environment, navigating ambiguity while maintaining a high bar.
- Design in systems, integrating solutions into the broader n8n platform and safeguarding the product’s big picture.
- Account for edge cases, constraints, and interaction details to ensure users never end up in impossible states.
- Collaborate across teams and designers to ensure consistency and quality across shared patterns and components.
- Shape team strategy by influencing planning, prioritization, and scope with a design perspective tied to KPIs.
- Explore and adopt AI and automation tools to push the boundaries of design practice and AI-powered workflows.
