About the Role
- As a Lead Product Designer for the AI team, you will take a systems-oriented approach to define the vision for creating a best-in-class Copilot experience.
- You will help rethink how Copilot experiences across all modalities reshape the work of customer support agents and Zendesk admins in an AI-first world.
- You will collaborate closely with other designers in the space to ensure an optimal and consistent end-to-end experience.
- Your role will be vital to creating a differentiated CX experience where AI-assisted workflows dramatically simplify the role of agents and admins.
- You will get to collaborate mostly with teams in Portugal, Germany, Denmark, and Poland but also distributed teams in AMER and APAC.
- This is a hybrid role where the experience is designed at the team level to provide a rich onsite experience while giving flexibility to work remotely for part of the week.
- This role must attend a local office for part of the week, with the specific in-office schedule to be determined by the hiring manager.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design and build the future for Zendesk Copilot, where AI serves the needs of agents and admins.
- Partner with the product & engineering teams to research and develop new Copilot capabilities for our customers.
- Work across cross-functional teams, partnering with product managers, engineers, researchers, and content strategists on developing designs from ideas to execution and ensuring a detailed approach to the design process.
- Design interaction models, flows, wireframes, and hi-fidelity mockups that promote ease of use and optimize how customers interact with our products while partnering with other designers on the larger product vision.
- Present design solutions to partners and senior executives, defend design decisions, and incorporate feedback into the design cycle.
What You'll Bring
7+ years of professional experience in designing consumer or business SaaS applications.
Experience prompting LLMs, working with generative AI, AI-powered productivity tools, or an intense desire to learn.
Ability to operate in a technical environment and help visualize the impact of technical decisions on the global user experience.
Ability to own complex objectives in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to ever-changing requirements and deadlines.
