About the Role
- As an IC4+ Product Designer, you will be embedded in product squads tackling real challenges, such as designing productivity features and evolving Design Systems across platforms.
- The role involves helping products become the tool of choice for individuals and teams and using AI tools to prototype and explore ideas.
- You will work within a small, multidisciplinary Design team that shapes the end-to-end experience across the product suite, including Todoist, Automations, and a Communications app.
- The team works across every platform, including iOS, Android, Web, and Desktop.
- You will operate in cross-functional squads, working closely with product, engineering, and marketing.
- Doist is a fully remote, async-first team where strong written communication and independent work are essential.
What You'll Be Doing
- Designing intuitive, beautiful, and consistent experiences across iOS, Android, Web, and Desktop.
- Collaborating with engineers, product managers, and marketers within cross-functional squads.
- Contributing to and maintaining the shared Design System and component library.
- Using data, user insights, and direct user conversations to validate and improve design decisions.
- Using tools like Claude, Cursor, and similar AI tools to prototype, write code, and ship, actively closing the gap between design intent and working product.
- Finding new ways to improve how design and development collaborate through tooling and process.
- Helping define and evolve the product vision alongside the broader design team.
- Staying ahead of platform guidelines (iOS HIG, Material Design, Web standards) to bring the best of each platform to the products.
