What You'll Be Doing
- Working across multiple projects at pace, balancing craft, efficiency and real product/project impact.
- Gathering and assessing user and business requirements in close collaboration with Design, Project and Product Managers and Developers.
- Bringing ideas to life through storyboards, user flows, journeys and site maps, ensuring a seamless end-to-end user experience.
- Designing visually appealing, consistent user interfaces with a sharp eye for detail, accessibility and brand alignment.
- Building wireframes, mock-ups and high-fidelity prototypes that clearly showcase both functionality and visual direction.
- Spotting and solving UX challenges, implementing improvements that boost clarity, responsiveness and user satisfaction.
- Turning user feedback into smarter iterations, continuously refining the experience and keeping it aligned with real expectations.
- Creating and maintaining design documentation (style guides, component specs and UX/UI guidelines) to support smooth collaboration and faster delivery.
- Supporting the evolution and maintenance of the company’s internal Design Systems, helping teams ship consistent experiences at scale.
- Supporting the Communications/Marketing team with graphic assets and social media visuals when needed.
What You'll Bring
3+ years of UI/UX experience, with a proven track record of shipping high-impact digital products or projects across different industries.
A strong portfolio (required) that shows your craft, your thinking, and the outcomes from problem framing to polished delivery.
Advanced proficiency in Figma (and other industry-standard tools), with a solid grasp of Design Systems, component-based design, and scalable patterns.
Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, translating user/stakeholder insights and business goals into effective, user-centred design solutions.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills — confident presenting, explaining and defending design decisions, and partnering closely with cross-functional teams.
Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring consistency and quality across platforms, browsers and devices.
Availability to work on-site in the city of Aveiro.
Nice to Have
Experience capturing and editing video to support company communications and/or create product and project promo videos.
