About the Role
- TeamViewer helps IT teams keep complex environments running, from a single device alert to autonomous resolution across an entire fleet. As a Product Designer on TeamViewer ONE and TeamViewer AI, you will work with a product manager and engineers to design features customers rely on every day.
- This is a generalist role. You will own features end to end, from understanding the problem to checking the result in the live product. Strong interface craft is at the core of the job. Research is part of it too: you will talk to customers, test your ideas, and use what you learn to make better decisions. You do not need to be a research specialist. You need to be curious about customers and willing to go and find out. Anyone can produce a screen now. A good product designer knows why that screen should exist, and checks that it works. We care more about how you think than how long you have been doing it.
What You'll Be Doing
- Own complete features end to end, from first sketch to live product.
- Work with your product manager and engineers to understand the problem before moving to solutions.
- Plan and run interviews and usability tests for your features, using our research platform and shared frameworks, with support from senior designers.
- Turn what you learn into clear findings that change what the team builds.
- Explore a few real alternatives, and explain why you chose the one you chose.
- Design every state of a flow: happy path, empty, error, loading and edge cases.
- Extend the design system, not just use it.
- Review the build before it ships, and look at how your feature is used after launch.
- Use AI tools to get from an idea to something people can react to, quickly.
- Take part in crits and team rituals, and help newer designers find their footing.
What You'll Bring
Solid interface and interaction craft: clear, accessible and consistent design across complex workflows.
Hands-on research experience. You have planned and run interviews or usability tests yourself, and you can show a decision that changed because of what you found.
Working knowledge of common discovery methods, such as customer interviews, usability testing, journey mapping or assumption testing, and a sense of when a quick test is enough.
The ability to spot the assumption in an idea that is most worth testing.
Comfort making tradeoffs between scope, quality and time without needing them spelled out.
The confidence to take a position and explain your design decisions clearly to product managers and engineers.
Curiosity about AI prototyping tools, or clear evidence that you pick up new tools fast.
Experience shipping product design in a software team. We are more interested in the decisions you made and what came of them than in the number of years.
Experience in B2B, IT management, security or other technical domains are of an advantage.
Experience designing for AI or agentic systems, where the product is sometimes wrong and trust has to be earned would help a lot on the job and is nice-to-have.
Comfort reading product analytics and experience with unmoderated testing or surveys are beneficial.
Fluency in English is mandatory.
