- Input in product development is expected as part of the culture, according to Simona, Head of Product Design.
- The company culture is deeply rooted in customer-centricity.
- As a Senior Product Designer, you will work on delighting users and making the experience as unique and memorable as the objects themselves.
- You will work on key elements of the value proposition, such as ‘delightful discovery’, ‘curation by in-house experts’, or ‘smooth and easy shipping’.
- You will work closely with other Product Designers and Writers, Product Managers, Developers, and Data Scientists.
- You will take ownership of big design challenges, going through the full double diamond, as an Engineering, Product, Design & Data (EPD) team.
- You will champion the needs of users and connect them with business and technology to deliver validated, viable designs that solve real user needs.
- Offices are located in Amsterdam, Paris, and Lisbon.
- Most Catawikians operate in a hybrid setup, combining office-based and remote work, with a minimum of two days per week in the office.
What You'll Be Doing
- Drive research efforts to identify user needs, help uncover key opportunities and align these with business goals.
- Transform ideas for innovation and improvements based on user research, data analysis, and competitive reviews into viable and creative solutions.
- Work hands-on to create design deliverables such as user journeys and service blueprints, interaction models, Design Systems elements, and prototypes that demonstrate desired outcomes.
- Align with multiple stakeholders, incorporating feedback early and often and encouraging a user-centred focus.
- Collaborate closely with the UX team to review designs & copy proposals, contributing to a consistent and coherent platform.
- Facilitate and/or participate in concept workshops, topic presentations, design sprints and other creative sessions.
