About the Role
- UX Researcher focused on strengthening how UX research informs product decisions across the company.
- Primary focus areas include leading complex, ambiguous, high-impact UX research that informs product strategy and building a scalable UX Research practice within the Design team.
- You will be the dedicated UX Research expert within the Research Team, working alongside Product and Marketing Researchers and collaborating closely with the wider Product, Design, and Analytics teams.
- Location: Portugal (Remote).

What You'll Be Doing
- Act as an active UX Research evangelist and change agent by proactively identifying opportunities, coaching and challenging colleagues, and launching new initiatives.
- Own and grow the UX Research practice: build a pragmatic research process for the Design team, enable designers to run appropriate research independently, and create clear quality guardrails without becoming a bottleneck.
- Lead high-impact research from the quarterly plan and run it end-to-end: intake brief → write methodology → conduct research → analyze → synthesize → present → push actions.
- Choose the right method based on uncertainty level, business goals, and timeline, such as interviews, usability tests, concept tests, surveys, desk research, or competitive scans.
- Run work independently, including access to tools/data, participant scheduling and confirmations, session logistics, note-taking, and documentation.
- Work closely with Product Analytics to connect quantitative and qualitative evidence to provide a full picture of user behavior.
- Experiment with new approaches and tools, from moderated and unmoderated testing to emerging AI-enabled methods such as synthetic users.
- Ensure user needs and constraints are represented in product decisions.
