About the Role
- Position: UI/UX Designer.
- Location: Oeiras (hybrid).
What You'll Be Doing
- User-centered design: create intuitive and accessible designs that align with user needs and behaviors.
- User experience research and testing: conduct user research, usability testing, and behavioral analysis to inform design decisions and improve usability.
- Design patterns: develop and maintain style guides, Design Systems, and reusable user interface patterns to ensure visual and functional consistency across platforms.
- Interface design and implementation: produce wireframes, mockups, and prototypes and deliver ready-to-integrate user interface components (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) suitable for direct implementation in ALE systems.
- Graphic design: create and maintain original graphic assets, such as icons, images, and visual elements to enhance user experience.
- User interface testing and troubleshooting: test user interface elements (layouts, flows, buttons, banners) and resolve issues related to responsiveness, accessibility, and design consistency.
- Continuous improvement: incorporate feedback and usability findings into iterative design updates.
- System coverage: provide user interface/user experience services across all ALE systems, focusing on systems prioritized during sprint planning cycles.
What You'll Bring
Proven experience in UI/UX design for digital products and services on web and mobile platforms.
Design tools: Sketch, InVision, Visio, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD).
Web technologies: HTML, CSS (SCSS), JavaScript.
Design Systems: implementation of component-based and reusable design.
Proven experience in customizing Moodle using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience in designing and customizing interfaces, workflows, and Jira dashboards.
Ability to produce design artifacts (wireframes, mockups) and integration-ready outputs (HTML/CSS templates).
Skill in conducting and translating user testing into actionable design improvements.
Nice to Have
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and sprint-based design delivery.
Understanding of UX best practices for e-learning platforms (TMS, adaptive learning tools).
Knowledge of cloud-based environments and integration of UI/UX artifacts into enterprise systems.
